Sunrise Development · Helping the Underprivileged
We're transforming rural land in Cameroon into a productive, sustainable working farm — creating jobs, skills, education and healthcare for the community that grows with it.

01
Sunrise Development is transforming rural land in Cameroon into a productive, sustainable working farm that creates opportunities for the surrounding community. Our mission is to provide reliable local employment, strengthen agricultural knowledge and improve long-term access to education and basic healthcare.

02
The farm will employ community members while helping farmers develop practical skills in land preparation, planting, crop care, harvesting and farm management. By introducing improved seeds, appropriate machinery and more efficient farming methods, we aim to increase productivity while building valuable skills that can benefit local families for generations.

03
The farm’s success will support more than agriculture. Proceeds will be reinvested into community development projects, including the construction of a local school where children can receive a quality education closer to home. The school will also serve as a community resource and provide space for regular visits from nurse practitioners, giving families better access to basic health assessments, health education and preventative care.
Sunrise Development was started with a foundational donation from Nicop Oil — seed capital that made it possible to secure the land and begin building a farm the whole community can grow with.
Sunrise Development believes that sustainable change begins by investing in people. By connecting agriculture, employment, education and healthcare, we are working alongside the local community to build a healthier and more prosperous future.
Plantain, cocoa, palm and cassava — food the community eats and cash crops that fund the school, the clinic visits and the next season's planting.

“A thriving rural community where productive agriculture provides employment, children have access to education, families receive essential healthcare support and local people have the knowledge and resources to build a better future.”

Every goal connects agriculture, employment, education and healthcare into one self-sustaining cycle of community growth.
Every seed planted helps create employment, develop local skills and support future community projects. Together, we can cultivate more than crops—we can cultivate opportunity.

In-kind pledges — tools, machinery, trucks and farm inputs — go straight to work in the field.
Good intentions cannot outperform poor inputs. Every item below translates directly into more land planted, more people employed and more harvest reaching market.

Higher-yield, climate-suited varieties to raise output from every hectare we plant.
Inputs that protect young crops and keep the soil productive season after season.
Hoes, machetes, spades, watering cans and protective gear for the planting teams.
Tillers and equipment that cut the physical toll of clearing and preparing land.
To haul supplies out to the fields and carry the harvest to market — our single biggest need.
